If you haven't read Laura's 'Shared Pallet' post, she is back and working to get charcoal out. http://www.kamado.com/discus/messages/4316/33122.html?1161313088 Judging by the length of this thread, it's probably a good idea to confirm your interest/order again. |

Just to add a couple of bits of information. #1. Everyone needs to contact Kamado and give them your billing information and number and type of charcoal that you would like. #2. We need someone to volunteer to be the central contact person. I did this in the past for all of the orders coming into the Orlando area, but due to work schedule, lack of even short-term storage space, and general lack of time, I will not be able to do this at this time. The main reason for #1 is that it makes it much easier for everyone involved, except for (possibly) Laura, and it also keeps the contact person from getting stuck with 20 extra boxes that he/she hadn't planned on storing or buying at the time. Yes, I eventually recovered, found the space and even have used most of the surplus, but it sure was difficult moving around for a while. BOB asking Laura to bump my order up to 25 boxes if you read this |

join the club! Waiting for 30 boxes. Phoned yesterday and was told my #7 has been in San Diego since 10/20 and I'm waiting for a bill of laden from Richelle. Still waiting. How long does it take to write up a bill? |

One of my favorite quotes is from WC Fields. He said "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit, no sense being a damn fool about it." I felt that I was being treated like a fool. That is why Chicago cancelled. greggd |

Sorry fellas, I'm throwing in the towel. 10 months is just crazy to wish and hope for a buck a pound charcoal. Maybe sometime in the future I will be able to try it. I think I'm just going to stick with the 50 cent stuff. Thanks to all of you for hanging in there. |

I guess nobody believes anymore. Lack of information from company, lack of return calls. Most people do not want to take a chance. |

In reply to #2, everybody should pick up their own order. They should make arrangements to meet and pick up pallet as one. |

The next container of charcoal is due to arrive in LA/LGB port on the 15th of April and as soon as it clears customs all orders will be filled. Unfortunately, we are out of KEC at this time. |
