One person usually takes control of the shipment and everyone picks up their coal.
Each person calls in to Laura and makes their own payments.
It looks like we are up to about 90 boxes, which gives us a cheaper freight charge.
The more weight, the cheaper the cost of shipping.
I'm still waiting for freight costs on 90 boxes.
Jump in if you don't mind picking your stuff up in the Boston area, or if someone else has any ideas for pickup is cool. |

I got a message from Laura last night. She said that they are expecting a shipment to hit customs on June 6th. As soon as it clears, it will be available for people to purchase.
So, those that want to make a group order should reaffirm here and then get in touch with Laura so that she can begin putting it together.
I have never participated in this before, so hopefully there is a 'charcoal vet' here that will take responsibility for being the point person |

I'm still interested in 15 boxes. It's taken so long for Kamado to get the Charcoal that I may double my order. Please confirm when it comes in and I'll call Kamado with my payment info |

I believe the best thing to do is to call Laura and let her know what you want so that she can generate a PO. Then she will know to contact you when the time is right.
Than again, she may jump on here and correct me |

I placed my order and gave my credit card to Laura for this Boston ship back in late May/June. I never received word that the order shipped. What happened?

Sit back and relax. Appears you're fairly new. May/June isn't long, family run business. Nothing happens fast; you'll learn.
Another forum user posted needing Koal for T-Day, they're waiting too. So doubt Kamado even has any koal to send yet.
Suppliers like Dr's Foster and Smith, where you pay 7-9 day shipping, and the order arrives the next day have ruined our patience as consumers.
You still have more wait ahead. When you get the ball rolling, order a years supply at a time, then 6-7 months before you're out, place next years order. |

Hey Alan,
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I apologize but the reason why the order was not shipped was because the combined charcoal order was not confirmed by all parties. Your credit card, while received, was not charged.
If everyone is still interested please let me know and we will get the order going.
